The implementation of the Barrel technology for Reverse Osmosis (RO) provides a solution that addresses safety, quality and reliability concerns that go along with high and ultra-high-pressure RO equipment. Additionally, the Barrel designs allow for the use of smart connectors between each membrane element, providing real-time temperature and conductivity readings. As these pre-engineered Barrel designs can reduce procurement and installation costs, the solution provides an accelerated avenue to acceptance by addressing some of the design and safety concerns that come along with high and ultra-high-pressure equipment.
