PCW captures heat from the manufacturing process and expels it to the environment via several heat-exchange steps (e.g., chilled water, condenser water, cooling tower). Proper PCW management is essential to the reliability of several key manufacturing processes and facility support operations such as direct tool cooling. However, PCW management requires cooperation and collaboration between three main parties: facilities, process owners and water treatment service suppliers.
