The industry is facing staffing challenges and will need to hire thousands of new skilled workers. In this community event we will discuss how the industry can collaborate to ensure there is enough talent to sustain the growth and sustainably manage the semiconductor facilities.

The event will bring together Facility Owners, Tool and Technology Providers that will discuss their challenges and ways forward.

Speakers

Bob has been involved in water since 1970. From treatment to measurement to system design to engineering management over that period. Bob has been the Micro-Electronics Technical Market Manager for GF since Jan 2015. In that role Bob has been engaged in product quality, product development and market technical support. He has also been fully engaged in the SEMI UPW work groups.
Dan’s almost three decades of experience as a facilities engineering manager, process engineer, design engineer, construction project manager and tool hookup design in the advanced technologies and semiconductor manufacturing industry has led to innovative solutions in his work. Dan is well established in the semiconductor industry as an Ultra-pure Water, UHP Chemical and Wastewater expert as shown in his leadership of industry roadmap and collaboration teams. Dan also holds a patent for Reduction of Charging Induced Damage in Photolithography Wet Process.

Elizabeth Betancourt

Intel

Elizabeth Betancourt, PE, has a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from the National Technological University, a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus and is a registered Professional Engineer with the state of AZ. She has been working as a chemical/environmental engineer for 24 years, with experience in numerous areas including environmental compliance programs as well as process engineering and program manager. She is currently the Intel Ocotillo Operations and Commissioning Manager of the two new factories been built.
